Toni
Mr. Bill planned for a life-long dream of visiting Nashville, TN, and in June of this year his dream became a reality. At seventy years of age, Mr. Bill decided that he could save a little money each month, and be able to afford a Nashville vacation. Mr. Bill, and a dedicated Caroline Center employee left for Nashville on August 3, 2003. Mr. Bill started his trip with his very first flight. Upon landing in TN, the pilot and co-pilot made Mr. Bill feel welcomed by announcing his name as a first-time-flyer and shaking his hand as he exited the plane. While in Nashville, the tour of the Grand Ole Opry was especially memorable, as Mr. Bill was able to go on the stage and get a close look at many of the instruments. He also enjoyed a tour of the Country Music Hall of Fame and the The Hermitage Wax Museum. The six-day trip was filled with sight-seeing activities, and the creation of a life-time of memories.

Mr. Bill
Toni has been with the Caroline Center for approximately one and one-half years, and more importantly hasn’t had to go to the hospital for over two years now. She had some very difficult times in the past, and seems to have found the right match for her needs and desires here at CCI.
She moved into her apartment in July of 2002 where staff help her plan healthy meals, grocery shop, and get to and from appointments and work. Toni has always been a hard worker, and takes pride in earning her own money. She has worked at a Beauty Shop and more recently at Burger King. When Toni isn’t working in the community, she attends the pre-vocational day program at CCI. While there, she works on assembly jobs, and continues to learn new skills that will help her in competitive employment.
